Unfortunately previous attempts at fixing the underlying upholstery had made things worse rather than better. Yes, that is carpet underlay, held in place by very sharp nails!

We completely stripped down the frame, replacing woodwork where necessary with new springs laying the foundation for layers of upholstery yet to come

We believe that there is no point in "building on a foundation of sand". This top quality foam should last at least 15 years. You can see that we also included solid outside arms

In its final stages, you can see that we use different grades of foam for different purposes. In this case luxury seating foam perfectly fitted to the rest of the chair
